Job Description We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Secondary School Teacher to join a dynamic school in Wolverhampton. This role involves planning and delivering lessons that engage and challenge students, supporting their academic progress, and maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment. The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching and a strong subject knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively to create a positive learning environment
- Support the academic and personal development of students
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of teaching methods and subject matter
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in a secondary school setting
- Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
